Mama Kat's Monday Musings

Hello All!!!

In case you didn't know, I'm Amy aka Amy Kat aka Mama Kat, and one of the owners of Nerdy Girls Collective! I'll be popping in every now and then for a little... musing... Just a bit of my thoughts and ramblings.

Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE doing Affirmations or Mantras. I do one every single morning and it really helps put me in a positive mindset for the day! I also LOVE crystals! My absolute favorite affirmation deck is a crystal-themed one, so I thought I would pull a card for us today!

We got Orange Calcite! I love all calcite but I truly adore a good, juicy piece of orange calcite! (Should have snagged a pic of some of mine to show you!) It is so bright and bold and cheerful! Orange Calcite is great for creativity, motivation, and energy! So it feels like the perfect card for a Monday!

Our Affirmation Is:

"I am motivated and my body is energized. I am ready to take on the day!"

What are the things that motivate you on those Monday mornings when you struggle to get going or dread facing the day/week?

For me, it is almost always my kids. Any time I am struggling, they always keep me moving forward. I also find when I focus on the smaller joys and wins, that it helps to remember that sometimes, the big picture is just a little hard to see... but it IS there.

So here's to an energized day and week! I hope you find the things that motivate you to keep going, keep pushing, and keep facing anything this crazy world throws at you. Because at the end of the day, you matter. What you do, matters.
